People always notice my size first. That's okay—I notice everything else.
I may not be the biggest dog in the room, but nobody has ever convinced me that matters. I greet every day with confidence, plenty of opinions, and the firm belief that my humans are much safer with me keeping watch. If someone walks past the house, chances are I'll know before anyone else does.
When I'm with the people I love, my tough side melts away. A warm blanket, a cozy lap, and a quiet evening together are just about perfect in my book. I'll happily spend hours by your side... as long as you don't expect me to share your spot on the couch without a little negotiation.
