Dax
“Sit is optional. Treats are not.”
I’m Dax, and I’ve never really understood the concept of strangers. Dogs, cats, humans — as far as I’m concerned, they’re all just friends I haven’t met yet.
When I’m happy, my tail doesn’t do all the work. My entire body gets involved. And since I love attention, walks with my moms tend to include a lot of very important stops for pets, cuddles, and meeting everyone we pass.
I can be a little stubborn, but I prefer to think of myself as a skilled negotiator. Ask me to sit and I’ll consider it. Produce a treat and suddenly we have something to discuss.
I’m still forming my official opinion on baths. I’ve tried a few, and the jury remains very much out.
Give me a trip to the park, plenty of new friends, a reward for my cooperation, and then let me sleep in on a lazy Saturday morning. At the end of the day, I’m really just one big cuddle bug who wants to be wherever my favorite people are.
