Some dogs chase every squirrel they see. I keep an eye on the whole neighborhood. Someone has to make sure everything's exactly as it should be.
People sometimes think I look serious, but that's only because I'm always paying attention. I know who's coming up the driveway, which sounds belong here, and when one of my humans needs a quiet friend by their side. Looking after my family isn't something I was taught—it's simply who I am.
Don't worry, though. I know how to have fun too. Throw me a ball, take me on a long adventure, or tell me I'm a good boy, and you'll see my serious side disappear in an instant.
At the end of every day, I'm happiest knowing everyone made it home safe. That's all the reward I need... although I won't turn down a belly rub or two.
